The role

This is an exciting career growth opportunity that will allow you to take ownership of components feeding into mid to large scale projects, supporting the Project Leader. You will have a positive, and professional attitude towards clients and fellow co-workers.

You will have an eye for design, evident in your well put together portfolio and the ability to document independently using Revit is essential to securing this role.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Collaborate with Senior Architects and Interior Designers in the design and delivery of the project.
  • Prepare spatial planning, test fit and schematic design schemes.
  • Prepare design development presentations and documentation.
  • Liaise with engineering services and specialist sub consultants.
  • Prepare reports and documentation packages (including drawings, schedules and specifications) across each phase of the project.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants and suppliers as required.
  • Ensure the project is conducted in a way that maintains Woods Bagot professionalism and skill.

About you

As the successful candidate you will have experience working with a collaborative, creative and resourceful team. You have specialised experience in the design and construction of interior design and architectural projects.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in the Interior Design/Architecture field
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • Sound skills in overarching concept design to design development and documentation
  • Ability to visually communicate a projects design intent and concept narrative for report submissions and presentations.
  • Ability to produce coordinated schedules.
  • Technical knowledge and ability to develop fit out details and take the design through to documentation an advantage.
  • Experience in diverse project typology will be beneficial.
  • Ability and confidence in dealing with suppliers and consultants.
  • Familiar with Australian building regulations and standards.
  • Revit skills essential. You must be capable of documenting an interiors package in Revit.
  • InDesign and Photoshop skills.
  • Enscape skills and additional rendering software programs an advantage.
  • Keen eye for design and willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to contribute to a high performing team.
