Woods Bagot Principal Christopher Lye has been invited to join the 2023 Frame Awards Grand Jury to pick the Winners of the Year in the retail category.
“Frame’s expert judging panel includes not only architects and interior designers, but also journalists and artists. This diversity ensures that the final winning projects truly represent the end-user experience, rather than being solely based on design gestures,” says Christopher Lye, during his ongoing judging sessions.
“I’m seeing a growing number of China works are shining in global platforms with their think-out-of-the-box designs. The submissions in the retail sector are wonderful exemplars of what’s happening now in the market – more sustainable, visually impactful with strong colors and gestures, and most importantly, people centric.”
As part of Woods Bagot’s Retail Design Centre of Excellence group, he supports the Hong Kong and Shenzhen Studio as the firm’s main retail hub for different global project reviews and collaborations. As an architect and designer with over 15 years of experience in the UK, Hong Kong and China, Christopher Lye has completed numerous large-scale retail and commercial projects and gained significant know-how in project design and managements.
