In a celebration of architectural innovation and creativity, Hillcrest Rose Bay, Sydney, designed by Woods Bagot, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Visualisation Prize at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2023.
Woods Bagot dream team Domenic Alvaro and Tracey Wiles have combined to design the stunning Hillcrest Rose Bay residences in Sydney’s east and visualisations were created by Associate Jeffrey Faranial.
The Visualisation Prize, now in its fourth year, serves as a platform for architects to showcase their most inspiring renders. Sponsored by Lumion rendering software, the competition encourages architects to push the boundaries of imagination and present their designs in a visually stunning and compelling manner.
WAF shares, “as an architect, you have the power to shape the world around you. To take a simple idea and transform it into something extraordinary.
“Architectural visualisation eases this process by letting you look into the future and experience a design long before it exists. In doing so, you can ensure that it’s as close to your vision as possible – that it evokes the desired emotion and tells just the right story.”
Hillcrest Rose Bay, Sydney, stands as a testament to the innovative and visionary approach of Woods Bagot. The project seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with a deep respect for the surrounding environment. Nestled in the heart of Sydney, this residential masterpiece reflects the essence of contemporary living while embracing the natural beauty that defines the region.
The fusion of sustainable design and architectural elegance in Hillcrest Rose Bay has captured the attention of the Visualisation Prize judges, showcasing an exceptional blend of design aesthetics and the transformative potential of architectural visualization.
All finalists, including Hillcrest Rose Bay, will have the opportunity to present their projects live at the World Architecture Festival, scheduled to take place at the iconic Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from November 29 to December 1, 2023. This gathering promises to be a convergence of architectural brilliance, where finalists will share their insights and creative processes with a panel of esteemed judges.
