Congratulations are in order for the Dubai Studio as the team has taken home ‘Hotel of the Year’ at this year’s Commercial Interiors Awards – rewarded for their hard work on the 25hours Hotel One Central.

Project leader and senior associate, Aleksandra Nastic, studio chair & principal Samer Charara, principals Matthew Engele & Priya Mrinal, and interior designer, Nadine Kassab, joined our clients from 25hours Hotel Group to celebrate the occasion at the awards ceremony on Thursday 15th September. The night was made even more special by winning Hotel of the Year. 

The team were also finalists in two other categories – with Aleksandra shortlisted for interior designer of the year, and Nadine shortlisted for young interior designer of the year.

The Commercial Interior Design Awards aim to “encourage interior designers from the Middle East to show that their world-class designs are on par with their international peers.” This was the CID’s 16^th year, with a major event attended by over 1000+ guests, including industry experts, developers, designers and suppliers.

Of the win, Aleksandra commented: “Such a magical night! I feel so inspired. It is such great recognition for Woods Bagot to receive an award for the Hotel of The Year for 25hours One Central at the CID awards evening.”
