Woods Bagot is delighted to share the news that the recently opened 25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai has been shortlisted three times at this year’s Ahead Awards! This striking new hotel project is a finalist in three categories – Event Spaces, Hotel New Build and Lobby & Public Spaces.
In a team led by Senior Associate, Aleksandra Nastic, Woods Bagot was responsible for the full interior design scope on the 25hours Hotel One Central. The team worked very closely with the client – 25hours Hotel Group and the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) – as well as lead architect, Hopkins, to deliver a one-of-a-kind destination. This is the group’s first hotel in the Middle East, boasting 434 rooms and suites – with an interior design led by memorable, authentic and unique guest experiences.
The Awards for Hospitality Experience and Design (AHEAD) aim to celebrate the very best in the hospitality industry across the globe, with entries broken down by region – with the 25hours Hotel One Central being placed within the Middle East and Africa Ahead Awards.
The next step is for a further assessment by a panel of leading hoteliers, architects, designers and other industry experts. All finalists will be a part of this year’s MEA Award ceremony at W The Palm in Dubai on 10 November, where the winners are due to be announced.
