Triumphs at the Pro+ Awards in China

Ella Bi and Ray Yuen at the Pro + Awards ceremony.

The prestigious Pro + Awards, a premier accolade in China’s property sector, recently celebrated its 2022 winners. The event brought together industry trailblazers, including design consultancies, property owners, and design media outlets.

Woods Bagot Principals Ray Yuen and Carsten Lange, alongside Senior Interior Designer Ella Bi, were present at the ceremony. They proudly took back home the gold trophy for the China Merchants Tower Dome Renovation project, in addition to five silver awards. The winning projects encapsulate the work of four W-B China studios, reflecting the region’s well ongoing market development.

The Pro+ Awards pride themselves on professionalism, benchmarking, value, and credibility in China’s real estate industry. The awards promote “applicability, economy, green, and beauty” as their guiding principles. They champion sustainable and healthy urban development and annually select real estate projects that demonstrate genuine commercial, cultural, and social value. The selection process encompasses early-stage planning, post-evaluation, and comprehensive project management.

The Pro+ Awards are a collaborative initiative between the Architectural Society of Shanghai China (ASSC), the American Institute of Architects’ Shanghai branch (AIA Shanghai), and the Royal Institute of British Architects’ China Branch (RIBA China).
