Great news for the newly opened Hotel AMANO Covent Garden! The hotel has been named a finalist at this year’s Designer Awards – and Davide Bertacca, associate principal and hotel sector lead for Europe, has been nominated for Architect of the Year on the 2022 Hotels Brit List.

In an area which sees over 43 million visitors each year, the Hotel AMANO Covent Garden – a boutique lifestyle hotel from Berlin-based hotelier, The AMANO Group – brings the cool and carefree spirit of Berlin to the capital, making it an exciting new destination for Londoners and visitors to discover.

This was a top-to-bottom project for Woods Bagot, leading on all architecture and interiors. Davide led on the architectural design of this project, while Brooke Radtke, Associate, led on the interiors.

The hotel comprises 141 guest bedrooms and a roof top bar, as well as a roof terrace offering one-of-a-kind panoramic views over Central London.

The Designer Awards are led by Designerati, the online design & architecture publication, and aim to recognize excellence in the design of both spaces and products. The Brit List Awards 2022 are decided by Hotel Designs, celebrating the people behind the studios and hoteliers that are raising the bar for hospitality design and delivery.
