NAB Workplace and the Australian Bragg Centre have both received honours in the 2024 Master Builders SA Building Excellence Awards.
The Master Builders SA Building Excellence Awards showcase excellence in the residential, commercial building, and construction industries. Now in its thirtieth year, it is today one of the most prestigious industry awards ceremonies in South Australia.
The Master Builders Awards received around 300 entries across 46 categories in civil, commercial, residential, and specialist sectors. Two Woods Bagot projects have been awarded in the 2024 program.
The Australian Bragg Centre received the top honour for Commercial / Industrial Building Over $100 million category. Submitted by developer Lendlease, this project represented a particularly difficult and complex build with numerous site and technical challenges.
Designed by Woods Bagot, the project comprises a 15-storey, purpose-built biomedical development with a subterranean bunker to deliver specialised proton therapy treatments – the first of its kind in Australasia.
“The design of the building was complex and of a very high standard, boasting exacting high-quality finishes,” the jury said. “Overall, this is an exceptional building that has been executed to the highest level of excellence.”

Designed by Woods Bagot, the King William address provides an opportunity for NAB staff to collaborate in a flexible, state-of-the-art office with modern workspaces ideal for hybrid working styles.
“The high-end finishes were delivered to an exacting standard, including a feature stair, which was fabricated offsite,” the jury wrote. “The results speak for themselves on this award-winning fitout.”
