The Regional Prize is awarded to projects across all sectors and typologies exhibiting receptivity to context and uplifting their local community.
Woods Bagot Associate Principal Clare Connan has been named a juror for the Regional Prize in the 2025 Victorian Architecture Awards, held by the Australian Institute of Architects.
The Regional Prize is awarded to projects that make a significant contribution to their regional contexts outside of Metropolitan Melbourne. Projects considered for this award will span all sectors, from commercial buildings through to residential, and will be judged by their impact on culture and community.
As a project leader at Woods Bagot, Connan leads large projects across the education and science sectors. Spanning a wide geographic breadth, Connan’s own portfolio of architectural project covers regional locations in Victoria and further afield, including a regional TAFE campus and a hydrogen research facility in Warnambool.
Connan will be judging the Regional Prize alongside fellow jurors Graham Crist from Antarctica Architects (jury chair), Luke Fry of Luke Fry Architecture and Interior Design, and graduate juror Katerina Nomikos from COX.
