Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, designed in collaboration with local New Zealand firm Warren and Mahoney, has been shortlisted in the Culture – Future Projects category, while Xiangjiang FFC Marketing Display Centre is competing in the Display – Completed Buildings category.
Woods Bagot Chief Executive Officer Nik Karalis said the shortlisted projects are demonstrative of a culture of excellence across the global studio.
“Our shortlisted projects from Christchurch and Beijing illustrate the diversity of our reach and the consistency of our design portfolio. Congratulations to the teams who have delivered these outcomes.”
This year, WAF and INSIDE will be held in Berlin on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th November, 2017. The two events are expected to bring more than 2,000 architects and designers to the city for three days of conference programs, awards, exhibitions and fringe events.
Woods Bagot Director Domenic Alvaro is on the jury, after taking out the competitive Office category for Paramount by The Office Space at INSIDE World Festival of Interiors last year.
Recognising excellence, the awards offer architects and designers worldwide the opportunity to showcase their best work. Attracting entries from over 50 countries, the awards program will see shortlisted projects compete across 30 categories.
