We’ve been very active in and around LA recently. Our engagement included “Building Worlds: the Art and Architecture of Film Design” with renowned production designers. The MORE LA research program, which sympathetically explored Los Angeles density and transport in a positive and community-engaging way, was featured in LACoMotion and recognized by Fast Company’s 2019 World Changing Ideas Awards. The inaugural Woods Bagot Prize was awarded to three SciArc students.
Our partnership with NeueHouse, a collective of local creators, innovators, and thought leaders, is taking us to a new home in the historic Bradbury Building. This is where Blade Runner’s synthetic humans, possessed of paraphysical capabilities, were pitted against actual humans, possessed of empathy. Woods Bagot is inspired by the best qualities of each as it develops technologically advanced, yet humane, projects for its clients and the broader community.
