Woods Bagot is proud to be supporting the Australian NSW Government’s Manufacturing for Schools program by partnering with The APP Group in its role as Manufacturing Partner.
Our strategic collaboration with The APP Group and industry professionals is driving the innovation to deliver high quality, sustainable schools faster, better, and cheaper.
The program incorporates advanced construction methods, including digital technologies, off-site manufacturing, and on-site assembly, ensuring faster, more efficient, and environmentally friendly school builds.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Education and Early Learning Prue Car, said, “I am proud we are leading the way with industry partners to deliver a new era of school building through this innovative program. This future-focused strategy for sustainable and modern school building will ensure we can support teachers and students to achieve outstanding learning outcomes.”

Working with School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) across the educational sector plays a pivotal role at Woods Bagot, embodying our commitment to fostering innovation through inclusivity.
Following the success of Schools at Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct (SMEEP) and Mosman High School, the upcoming education projects include Cumberland High School, Wentworth Point High School, Carlingford West Primary School, Castle Hill Primary School, St. Mary’s Cathedral College, and De La Salle Catholic College Cronulla.
Georgia Singleton, Global Leader of Education and Science at Woods Bagot, highlighted the team’s profound expertise, penchant for overcoming challenges, and constant pursuit of innovation.
“All the schools we work on have a particular architectural challenge, which is where Woods Bagot excels,” says Singleton.
“For example, at Meadowbank everyone was expecting a vertical school, but our team led by Ian Lomas decided to tip the design on its side and make the school part of the landscape thereby giving each student access to nature.
Woods Bagot looks forward to contributing our expertise to this groundbreaking initiative, revolutionising school infrastructure construction and delivery across NSW.
