Woods Bagot is delighted to be a part of the team delivering the Uptown Tower in Uptown Dubai – an exemplar mixed use vertical city and landmark – working closely with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).

This year the tower topped out at 340m, and the team has more recently announced the completion of the façade. Once complete, Uptown Tower will be a landmark building at the heart of Uptown Dubai, comprising workplace, a five-star SO hotel and branded residences

Woods Bagot is acting as the Architectural and Interior Design consultant working with WSP as the Architect of Record and Engineering Consultant– while Besix Group is the main contractor. Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture are the Design Architects and authors of the design, having completed the concept and schematic design for the tower.

During its construction, the project has seen several remarkable achievements including installing the world’s largest solar installation on a construction site. The project is also aiming for LEED gold.
