Principal, Regional Design Leader – Europe
Julian has more than 20 years’ of architecture and design experience encompassing the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He is highly experienced in leading the delivery of luxury residential and hotel projects, high-end mixed use developments and large-scale urban masterplans from inception to completion.
More recently, Julian oversaw the launch of the Hotel AMANO Covent Garden and is currently leading the design teams on several high-profile hospitality design and delivery projects across Europe. This includes the Antognolla resort in Umbria, Italy, MINTHIS in Cyprus and a 5-star hotel development in Porto Montenegro.
Julian is also leading on The Old Soapworks, a major mixed-use regeneration project in Bristol, and was the lead designer on the award-winning St Mary’s Calne School Library (2021 Building Awards – Small Project of the Year).
In addition to his acclaimed design work, Julian is currently an external examiner for master’s degree courses at the University of East London and London South Bank University.
