Nik blends leadership, strategy and creativity to create a Global Studio model that delivers sector based insights direct to local environments and clients anywhere in the world. At the same time he is responsible for transforming the practice of architecture towards empathy and ethics with a laser focus on the values of users and the values of design being one and the same.
Nik’s portfolio includes a mix of civic, architectural and interior projects. His work has received international acclaim and he has won a number of prominent global design awards, including the Australian Institute of Architects national and state awards, IDEA national award, FX international award and WAF shortlists.
Under the Woods Bagot research and experiential consultancy ERA-co, Nik has been responsible for many of the publications and has been at the epicentre of the cultural transformation of a globally relevant architectural practice which is virtually connected across the world.
Nik’s work crosses many boundaries and scales, ranging from master planning, civic and commercial buildings and intimate interiors. It is Nik’s ability to move between these complex interplays of disciplines which allows him to communicate with clients and operate across a variety of project types, delivering value to both clients and communities.
