Rachel Loeb joined Woods Bagot in November 2023.
Rachel is the Chief Investment Officer of Benenson Capital Partners, a privately held, US based real estate company, where she leads the company’s development, investment, and asset management strategies.
Before joining Benenson, Rachel led the NYC Economic Development Corporation as President & CEO, the NYC agency tasked with creating shared prosperity across the city, creating good jobs and growing the economy. In addition, with annual revenues of US$250M, she oversaw a diverse 60M square foot portfolio and managed a US$10B+ capital budget. Prior to joining NYCEDC, she was a real estate developer and created or acquired more than US$1.5B of mixed-use assets and over 3,000 units of mixed-income housing across the northeast. Her career began in Vietnam working on the country’s first master-planned community.
Rachel was named to Crain’s New York Business 40 Under 40, is an active member of ULI including serving on the NY advisory board and served on the MIT Visiting Committee for the Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
