Working landscape embodies an engaging and inclusive environment that empowers employees to ‘work together and be their best’.
The vision for the BHP Adelaide office was created collaboratively with BHP’s Leadership team during a prior due diligence project led by Woods Bagot and refined in the briefing stage. The project vision was defined by the team as ‘Create a bold new home for BHP’s Adelaide office that reflects a proud and professional organization that is welcoming and connected’.
Talk to Rosina Di Maria about Workplace Interiors
Space types and planning was based on a dynamic working model tailored to meet the needs of BHP Adelaide and aligned with BHP’s regional and global projects. A ‘Kit of Parts’ was developed to provide staff with a variety of settings to choose from depending on task, mood, personality and work-style. The spaces and supporting amenities were designed with a focus on workplace inclusion, diversity, and well being. This was achieved through providing diverse work settings of varying scale, ambiance and functionality, including 100% sit-to-stand workstations, focus booths and collaboration hubs.
Health and well being is promoted through the inclusion of a centrally located internal stair that connects shared amenities over the 7 floors. A large terrace provides access to the outdoors and nature, with the integration of planting and natural materials offering access to biophilia in the internal spaces.
